2How to Request a Restoration Quotation
We aim to make getting an accurate restoration quotation straightforward and transparent for period homeowners and property managers.
Step 1: Take a few clear photos of your sash windows (both exterior and interior if possible, highlighting any visible timber rot, peeling paint, or broken cords).
Step 2: Email the photos to hello@njsash.co.uk along with your property postcode, contact telephone number, and approximate number of windows.
Step 3: We will review the images, assess the restoration requirements, provide an initial indication of cost, and arrange a full on-site survey if appropriate.
3Helpful Details to Include With Your Enquiry

5Our Restoration Standards & Pricing Approach
Unlike replacement window companies who push modern uPVC or unnecessary complete replacements, our philosophy since 2005 is to preserve authentic period joinery wherever practical.
Every quotation is clear, detailed, and itemized. Standard restoration includes timber splice repairs using specialist epoxy resins, parting bead replacement, new wax-cotton sash cords, counterweight rebalancing, and discreet perimeter draught-proofing brushes.
Once an on-site survey is completed and you accept the written quotation, work is scheduled upon payment of a 20% booking deposit, with the balance due only upon final completion and your full satisfaction.
6Privacy & Data Protection Commitment
